Right Brain Records hosted the first ever Right Brain Music Minifest in Seattle on September 18, 2021. It was a one-night explosion of improvised music, featuring local virtuosos and spontaneous jams that will stretch your imagination.

Program:
Spontanea is a free improv quartet that creates surprising, otherworldly soundscapes.
Carol Levin (harp), Kenny Mandel (sax/flute), Matt Benham (guitar/fx), Scott Schaffer (bass).Amy Denio is a prolific, world-class vocalist, composer and improviser, known for busting known frontiers of the human voice.
Bill Horist is a renowned master of experimental guitar music, known for a mind-boggling range of palettes. (Unfortunately Bill was unable to attend due to circusmstances beyond his control. He will be part of our next program though.)
Outlaw Space is a high-energy post-jazz quartet that defies genre labels and adjectives. Kirill Polyanskiy (violin), Stephen Fandrich (piano), Bill Monteleone (sax).
Chance Trios (improv by combos picked by the audience)
Decajam (involving all of the above)
Admission: $5-15 suggested donation
