Podcast: Bill Horist's Underworlds

Bill Horist is well-known in experimental music circles as a master of the prepared guitar. He’s performed around the world and recorded nearly 100 albums, most with a vast array of musical associates. He’s perfected his craft over the past three decades, so it’s no surprise that his recent solo album, Substratum, has earned rave reviews. What you may not know is that Bill is also a scuba diver and acclaimed oceanic photographer. His photos of bizarre and sometimes rarely seen creatures have astonished marine biologists and laypeople alike. The through-line of these distinct pursuits is opening new doors for all of us to experience the world in different ways.

In episode 50 of the Right Brain Music Podcast we meet and hear Bill’s work. Click below to listen.
